Overview #
Pinaki Nexus operates the Technology HD Wallpapers app (the "Service") on Android (Google Play) and iOS/iPadOS (App Store). The app is free to use and is supported by ads; an optional one-time "Pro" upgrade removes ads.
This page explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to both the Android and the iPhone/iPad versions of the app.
Information We Collect #
- Device identifiers — an app-generated device ID; on Android, your advertising ID where available; on iOS, the identifier for vendor (IDFV) and, only if you allow tracking, the advertising identifier (IDFA). Used to keep your favourites, credits and Pro status, and to deliver ads.
- App activity — wallpapers you view, favourite, download or set, wallpaper requests and support messages you send.
- Notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging; on iOS delivered through Apple Push Notification service) — so we can send you new-wallpaper and request-status notifications. You can turn notifications off in your device settings.
- Photos / storage access — only to save wallpapers you choose to download (on iOS, to your Photos library). We do not read, upload or collect your existing photos.
- Technical data — device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone and approximate country (derived from time zone / network), crash and diagnostic logs.
- Purchase records — if you buy Pro, the order/transaction ID, amount, currency and date. We never receive or store your card, UPI or bank details.
You don't need to give us your name, email or phone number to use the app. If you contact support (in the app or on our support page), we collect the name and email address you provide, and your message, only to reply to you.
How We Use Information #
- Provide and personalise the Service (feeds, favourites, requests, notifications).
- Show ads, and stop showing them to Pro users.
- Process and verify purchases, refunds and Pro status.
- Show prices in your local currency (based on your device time zone).
- Diagnose crashes, prevent abuse and fraud, and keep the Service secure.
Third-Party Services #
These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies:
- Google Play Services, Google AdMob (ads), Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Crashlytics
- Apple App Store services (iOS)
- Payments: on iOS/iPadOS, Pro is sold only through Apple In-App Purchase; on Android, through Google Play Billing or, where offered, Razorpay (web checkout). Your payment details are handled entirely by the payment provider.
- Cloudflare (network security and delivery)
Advertising and Your Choices #
Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may use your advertising ID to show relevant ads. Where required (for example in the EEA/UK) we ask for your consent first. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device settings. On iOS, ad tracking only happens if you allow it in the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
Data Retention and Deletion #
We keep account data (device ID, favourites, credits, purchases) while the app is in use, and purchase records as long as required for accounting and legal purposes. To request deletion of the data linked to your device, email info@pinakinexus.com with your app name and, if possible, your order/transaction ID.
Security #
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on access-controlled servers. Payment secrets are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take commercially reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children's Privacy #
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13; if we learn we have, we delete it.
International Transfers #
Our servers and service providers may be located outside your country. By using the Service you agree to your information being processed in those locations with appropriate safeguards.
Changes to This Policy #
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date below shows the latest version.
